Piano Lessons
The studio specializes in beginner lessons for all ages. Our lessons are filled with activities that encourage and teach musicianship. Our goal is to teach children and adults to love music. All students in piano lessons will have the opportunity to perform in two recitals each year. This will give them a chance to share what they have learned with their friends and family. Piano lessons are taught by both Rebecca Worley and Sara Witthouse.
Our studio uses the Bastien Piano Series with our students. Children second grade and older will begin in the Primer Book and then move on to Book One. Kindergarten and first grade children will begin in the Primer A and Primer B books before moving to Book One. They will learn the same material, but at a slower pace. Children younger than kindergarten can begin in a group piano class. A class can be formed if three or more children of similar age request a class.
Trumpet Lessons
We offer trumpet lessons for students in 5th grade through the 9th grade. The lessons teach musicianship, performance etiquette, instrument technique and theory. All trumpet students will be encouraged to participate in Solo and Ensemble as well as our studio recitals. If they do choose to participate in Solo and Ensemble, the studio will provide an accompanist for them at no extra charge. In our lessons we will work on the solo piece their director has chosen for them. Trumpet lessons are taught by Sara Witthouse.

Once the student has reached a certain level of proficiency, he/she will work with the instructor to choose a specific style of music to pursue (i.e. rock, jazz, blues, pop, etc). Guitar lessons are taught by Melanie Foiles.
